This isn’t exactly a vintage shop, but it’s definitely a place that belongs on the map of vintage heaven. The street Calçada do Carmo is filled with vintage shops and specialty shops. Just walking down this street I guarantee you will find some great vintage clothing. Visit shops like Joker Vintage if you are looking for vintage clothes for men, or need a new vintage blazer.

You should be aware that Ás de Espadas only have clothes for women, but a little further down the street you will find the corresponding menswear store – also filled with vintage treasures.
A Outra Face da Lua
Inside this vintage shop, you will find yourself surrounded by colorful dresses and extravagant hats. The vintage shop has the most welcoming atmosphere and vintage mannequins are decorating the shop windows and the space in the basement where the vintage store is located.
Here you will find hand embroidered bags, vintage silk scarves, and sunglasses with attitude. The shops are worth a visit just for the satisfaction you will get by looking at all the colors and beautiful clothes. And the best part is, you can also sit and get a bit to eat (everything is vegan) while you are waiting for someone in the dressing room 😉

A few tips to Lisbon
If you are planning a trip to Lisbon, here is a few tips you can pack along with your vintage map before you leave.
First of all, you can’t visit Lisbon, without trying the famous pastry Pastel De Nata. When I stayed in Lisbon for a week I think I eat probably 2 Pastel de Nata daily… Maybe even a few more. They are delicious, and you can find them everywhere in the city. By an espresso and a pastel de nata and enjoy the view from one of the seven hills.
And now that we are talking about eating – then you must try some of the amazing fish and seafood dishes the capital has to offer. Lisbon is a seaport and famous for its amazing seafood. So don’t cheat yourself from tasting some of the local dishes with fish.
Now that we have talked a lot about vintage shopping I also have to mention all the specialty shops you will find in Lisbon. Because the city is booing with them. Do yourself a favor and visit some of the family-owned specialty shops and by some Ginjinha, port wine or canned sardines to bring home as a souvenir.
And last but not least, admire the beautiful colors and mosaic covering this city. Explore all the neighborhoods that all have something different to offer and enjoy the view from the hillsides. You can find a guide to the best viewpoint in Lisbon right here.
